Community College of Vermont Night Postponed to Friday

Thunder Road officials have postponed the Community College of Vermont Night event scheduled for Thursday, June 29 due to significant rain expected throughout the afternoon and evening. The event has been rescheduled for Friday, June 30 with a 7:00pm post time.

A full card of racing action will be on tap for the Thunder Road Late Models, Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers, and Allen Lumber Street Stocks along with the 2nd Annual Vermont Brewer’s Cup. The pit gates open at 4:00pm with general admission gates opening at 5:15pm. Admission is $12 for adults, $3 for kids ages 6-12, and $25 for a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids).

Waterbury Center’s Jason Woodard doubled down with a pair of Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tiger feature victories on North Country Federal Credit Union Night at Barre’s Thunder Road on Thursday, June 22. The former Champion captured his third career win after surviving a final three-lap dash in the Myers Container Service Triple Crown Series make-up event to open the program, then ended the evening with his fourth Tiger triumph in the regularly scheduled North Country Federal Credit Union event.
