Barre, VT — The 63rd season of stock car racing at Barre, Vermont’s Thunder Road International Speedbowl was one for the record books with three deserving drivers each winning their first track championship at ‘The Nation’s Site of Excitement.’ Each of these three drivers had a very unique way of earning their first championship at The Road, valuable stories worth sharing to better understand their respective triumphs. In our first installment we begin with a former Bolduc Metal Recycling Enduro 200 winner who later returned to Thunder Road in the rk Miles Street Stocks. Barre, VT — Thunder Road Officials announced today that Northfield Savings Bank has resigned a new three-year deal that will see the largest Vermont-based financial institution continue to present the nationally recognized Vermont Milk Bowl through 2025. The Vermont Milk Bowl presented by Northfield Savings Bank will once again feature a spectacular $103,100 purse after an ultra-successful 60th edition of ‘The Toughest Short Track Stock Car Race in North America’ last October. The Vermont Milk Bowl presented by Northfield Savings Bank is set to run for the 61st time on Sunday, October 1st following the always exciting Booth Bros./Hood Qualifying Day on Saturday, September 30th.

With the huge announcement of the nationally renowned SRX Series debuting at Thunder Road on Thursday, July 20th and with the need for Friday, July 21st as a possible rain-date, shifting the schedule became paramount. Along with moving the second round of the Myers Flying Tiger Triple Crown Series to June 29th, the Times Argus Midseason Championships will now be contested on July 6th with an all new Super Saturday on Saturday, August 12th featuring big-money purses for all four Thunder Road divisions and the championship round to an all-new Street Stock Triple Crown in the month of August!
