It’s time for part 2 of our Billboard/Special Sponsor Spotlight. By getting involved, these folks have shown their faith in the impact that racing can have on local business and the community. Your support of them rewards that faith while contributing to the long-term success of Thunder Road! (Note: billboard sponsors are listed in alphabetical order.)

 Novello Furniture/Ashley HomeStore

Whether at the track or at the house, every race fan needs a comfortable place to set. The Novello Furniture billboard at the track lets everyone know exactly where they can shop for the latter. Novello and Ashley Home Store are a relatively new Thunder Road partner, but are already making an impact. With in-person attendance limited over the past year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many fans enjoyed the action with live streaming at home. With each race now scheduled to be broadcast on FloRacing in a multi-year deal, fans can watch while relaxing in a new Novello couch or chair.

O'Reilly Auto Parts.png

O’Reilly Auto Parts

Official sponsor of the Thunder Road scoreboard

By both current and former names, O’Reilly Auto Parts has been a part of Thunder Road for three decades. Bond Auto Parts was a huge supporter of local auto racing; they spent well over a decade as the sponsor of the Flying Tiger division and sponsored the ACT Invitational at NHMS for several years. When O’Reilly Auto Parts acquired Bond Auto Parts in late 2016, they remained involved at Thunder Road as the official scoreboard sponsor. Whenever fans check the running order, they can also see exactly where to go for high-quality automotive parts.

The Bond Auto acquisition made O’Reilly an even bigger player on the national scene. O’Reilly Auto Parts was founded in December 1957 as a single family-owned parts store in Springfield, Missouri. There are now more than 5,400 O’Reilly parts stores in 47 states along with 20+ stores in Mexico. O’Reilly is the place to shop for OEM replacement parts and aftermarket parts to fit all major vehicle makes. They also sell tools, supplies, equipment, and accessories from leading brands. With locations in Littleton, Woodsville, Plymouth, Lancaster, and St. Johnsbury (VT) — many of which are open seven days a week — the rights parts are never far away. Many local auto repair shops purchase parts directly from O’Reilly. Visit www.oreillyauto.com to browse their selection or place an order.

Pete’s Equipment Sales & Rentals

Pete’s Equipment is a rapidly rising name in the auto racing community. They joined the Thunder Road family in 2020 as a billboard sponsor. Now, Pete’s Equipment is also the primary sponsor for Thunder Road track record holder Marcel J. Gravel. You won’t be able to miss either Lamoille County stalwart at the track this season — and when you’re working on summer outdoor projects over the weekend, you can count on Jason Couture and the Pete’s Equipment team to assist with everything you need.

Since 1974, Pete’s Equipment Sales & Rentals has been a leading provider agricultural, forestry, and heavy equipment. They’re an authorized dealer of top brands such as Hyundai Construction Equipment, Kioti, Woodhouse, and Robotec. Price Chopper trifecta logo.jpg

Price Chopper/Market #32 (NEW!)

This year, both Thunder Road and White Mountain Motorsports welcome Price Chopper/Market 32 to the billboard family. Although there’s nothing like a concession stand hamburger or convenience store slushee on race day, you need to eat the rest of the week, too.  Price Chopper can certainly help with that. Whether you’re stocking up for the next couple weeks or just need a few quick items, Price Chopper has them at great prices. After all, nobody chops prices more.

More than 130 combined Price Chopper and Market 32 supermarkets can be found throughout New England, Upstate New York, and Pennsylvania. Both offer all the groceries and household essentials you can imagine along with Market Bistro to-go meals, a deli, adult beverages, and a full-service pharmacy. Through their AdvantEdge rewards program, customers can save both now and later, either with discounts on grocery purchases or at participating Sunoco gasoline stations. Thunder Road fans can shop at Price Chopper on the Barre-Montpelier Road as well as Morrisville and Essex Junction. White Mountain goers can find a Price Chopper right down the road in Lincoln or in St. Johnsbury (VT). View their weekly flyer at www.pricechopper.com.

Reinhart logo 1.png

Reinhart Foodservice

Whenever anyone visits the courtyard area at Thunder Road to grab some food, visit the souvenir stand or just relax at the picnic table, they’ll see the Reinhart Foodservice banner. Reinhardt also supplies apparel for our concession stand workers along with much of the food products and equipment used to keep bellies full every Thursday night. Whether you’re ordering a mouth-watering cheeseburger, a hot cup of cocoa, or the infamous “Widowmaker” (we’ve enjoyed plenty of this pulled pork/French fry/melted cheese creations), you’ll know Reinhardt helped make it possible.

Sky High Slides n Such-1.jpg

Sky High Slides N’ Such

Sometimes, even at the race track, you might need another form of entertainment. Sky High Slides N’ Such always can help with having fun. Their 8’ x 20’ billboard lets everyone know who to call when they need a giant slide, bounce house, or other kid’s inflatable. During the second half of the 2019, they also supplied a weekly bounce house and slide in the turn 3 and 4 area for kids to play. This unfortunately did not return in 2020 due to COVID-19 guidelines, but we hope the bounce house will return as soon as health and safety allows.

Sky High Slides N’ Such of Barre, VT is the go-to local business for party and event rentals. In addition to their bounce houses and slides, they offer ball tosses, dunk tanks, rock climb slides, obstacle courses, and other interactive inflatables. Sky High also carries a wide variety of pop-up tents along with party equipment such as generators, banquet tables, folding chairs, and snow cone machines. They help make parties a stress-free experience so everyone goes home happy. Request a quote online at www.skyhighslides.com.

Til Dark Roofing.jpg

Til’ Dark Roofing

Everyone needs a high-quality roof over their head — especially with the weather rollercoaster that Vermont can often find itself on. Til’ Dark Roofing has an 8’ x 20’ billboard at Thunder Road to let fans know who they can turn to when they have roof troubles. This East Barre, VT general contractor already counts people in the racing community as their clients. Many of them are returning customers who’ve seen the quality of their craftsmanship and want professional service for another project. Owner Chris Facini worked at one of Vermont’s largest roofing companies for more than 15 years before going into business for himself.

Til’ Dark Roofing is a full-service roofing company that builds many types of new roofs from scratch. They use whatever material is best for the job, whether that’s seam metal, asphalt shingles, black EDPM rubber, or TPO rubber membrane. People also trust Til’ Dark Roofing for winter snow removal, skylight installation, vent pipe work, and other roof services. WhitesHeating-spot-logo.jpg

White’s Heating

Another thing all Vermonters need is a high-quality heating system when the weather cools off. White’s Heating — owned and operated by multi-time Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Model racer Matt White and his wife Mandy — is always ready to turn the heat up (on or off the track). Their 8’ x 20’ billboard is an all-summer reminder of who Central Vermont residents can call whenever they need heating service.

Since 2002, White’s Heating of Northfield, VT has been serving their neighbors and keeping them warm. They deliver heating oil and kerosene to the Central Vermont, Randolph, and Mad River Valley regions at competitive prices. That’s not all, though. White’s Heating also does heating and hot water system installations, annual maintenance, inspections, and 24-hour emergency service. Fuel assistance is available to current customers. The White’s Heating owners and employees all live in Central Vermont —they really are your neighbors! Visit www.whitesheatinginc.com to learn more about their services.
