Rain Postpones WDEV/Calkins Night to New Friday, September 9th Date
/Barre, VT — With thunderstorms and rain moving into Central Vermont early this afternoon and lasting after tonight’s scheduled Post Time, Thunder Road officials have made the difficult decision to postpone tonight’s events to the new date of Friday, September 9th. New to the 2022 Thunder Road schedule is the WDEV/Calkins Portable Toilets Championship Night for the Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Models, Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers and rk Miles Street Stocks on Friday, September 9th.
“We had good luck last Thursday,” said Thunder Road managing partner Cris Michaud. “With today’s forecast showing rain past our 7:00pm Post Time, we couldn’t see getting in tonight’s full program or a quality show for our loyal fans and loyal partners in WDEV and Calkins Toilets. We’re excited for our new WDEV/Calkins Portable Toilets Championship Night on Friday, September 9th. Mark your calendars now!”
