Following Lovely’s Engine Infraction, Jaques Awarded Street Stock Mini Milk Bowl Win

Barre, VT — Milton’s Trevor Jaques has been awarded the 2023 rk Miles Street Stock Mini Milk Bowl after post-race inspections revealed violations in the engine of Josh Lovely’s Ford Mustang. The apparent winner’s motor was pulled in the tech area following Sunday’s victory lane and taken for further investigation that revealed several issues with the engine’s heads and gaskets over tolerance for the four-cylinder division.

With Lovely’s disqualification, Barre’s Logan Farrell has moved into second-place overall and 2023 rk Miles Street Stock champion James Dopp has taken third overall in the Mini Milk Bowl standings.

“The rk Miles Street Stocks are one of the most competitive four-cylinder divisions in the Northeast,” said Thunder Road managing partner Cris Michaud. “We’ll continue to do our due diligence and ensure that everyone is adhering to our successful rules package and keep the division to that top standard.”
