M&T Bank Newest Thunder Road Naming Sponsor for 2nd Tiger Triple Crown on June 29th
/Barre, VT — Thunder Road officials are happy to announce a new partner in the 2023 season as M&T Bank has signed on to sponsor Round #2 of the Myers Container Flying Tiger Triple Crown on Thursday, June 29th. Along with having all four Thunder Road divisions on tap, June 29th is also an action-packed family fun day at the Central Vermont speed-plant with the annual Kids Rides scheduled and its Scout Night, all Scouts in uniform are admitted free!
Since acquiring former Vermont Milk Bowl headlining sponsor People’s United Bank last fall, M&T Bank has made it their duty to continue the positive legacy People’s United held in the New England community. M&T Bank Night at Thunder Road on Thursday, June 29th will be headlined by Round #2 of the Myers Container Service Flying Tiger Triple Crown Series. The Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers will go for 75-lap of heart-pounding action on the Barre highbanks and will be joined by the Maplewood/Irving Late Models, rk Miles Street Stocks and Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors. M&T Bank Night will also double the family fun with the annual Kids Rides on tap and Scout Night with all Scouts in Uniform admitted free!
Thunder Road opens with an epic 25th annual Community Bank N.A. lid-lifter weekend. It all starts with the Pro All Stars Series Super Late Models, Modifieds and R&R Street Stocks on Saturday, May 6th following the annual Thunder Road car show starting at 9:00am. Sunday, May 7th will feature the silver anniversary for the American-Canadian Tour Community Bank 150 plus the start of the championship season for the Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers and rk Miles Street Stocks with the Burnett Scrap Metal Road Warriors in tow.
