Rain Dampens Fan-Favorite Run-What-U-Brung, Moved to Friday, September 1st

Barre, VT — On what started out as a perfect afternoon in Central Vermont suddenly turned gray, deary and, worst of all, wet on Thursday. Following the conclusion of qualifying for rk Miles Street Stocks and Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Models, rains began to fall on the Thunder Road property causing the Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers to duck into the pit area. After track drying was nearly complete, with the help of the Flying Tigers, a heavier batch of rain moved back into the area, and the radar to prompt officials to pull the plug. Jet Service Envelope/Accura Printing Night has been postponed to Friday, September 1st to kick-start Labor Day weekend at Thunder Road prior to Sunday’s 45t Labor Day Classic 200 for the American-Canadian Tour.
