Twenty-seven Maplefield/Irving Late Models made the special Sunday trip to the Nation’s Site of Excitement for the Jack Daniels Ready to Drink Cocktails 100, the battle serving as round two in the inaugural Squier Cup Late Model Triple Crown! While the Late Models may have been the headline, there was action aplenty Sunday evening.

Round two of the inaugural Squier Cup Late Model Triple Crown, the 100-lap showdown is set to be an instant classic on the highbanks with added attractions from the Flying Tigers, Street Stocks and Road Warriors for the twilight special with a 5:00pm Post Time on Sunday!

Race teams and fans alike are also looking forward to the Preston’s Kia Independence Day Spectacular with good, hardnosed racing on tap alongside the Fourth of July festivities!

Barre, VT — Mother Nature allowed Thunder Road to return to world famous Thursday Night racing with plenty of spills, thrills and wins! Following the ever-popular Kids Rides, twenty-six Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers competed for starting position in the first round of the Myers Container Service Triple Crown Series. Four drivers earned a +3 handicap through the heats to lead the field in their 75-lap feature.

Barre, VT — After yet another week off due to severe thunderstorms, Thunder Road is ready to return in a big way this Thursday, June 27. Headlined by Round #1 of the Myers Container Service Triple Crown Series for the Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers, this Thursday also serves as the popular return for two Thunder Road staples; the annual Kids Rides around the 1/4-mile highbanks and Scout Night, with all Scouts in Uniform admitted free!

Barre, VT — Following the second weather-related postponement in three weeks at Thunder Road, officials have shaken up the schedule to accommodate Mother Nature. While the majority of the schedule remains in place, the 45th Vermont Governor’s Cup will now be contested on Thursday, July 11 with the addition of the Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors to make it a four-division card. Thursday, July 11th’s originally scheduled events, including the second round of the Myers Container Service Triple Crown have been moved to a new twilight Sunday special on August 11.
